The Department of Electronic Science was set up in 1991. Electronic Science is offered as a subject for B.Sc. and B.Sc (Computer Science) at the undergraduate level. A salient feature of the department is its rich infrastructural facilities consisting of an Analog and Digital Laboratory, Computer Laboratory and Microcontroller Interfacing Laboratory. Students can also access the departmental library which has a rich collection of text and reference books. The well-trained and qualified faculty at the department engage in hands-on teaching and active research. They counsel students on the latest technological developments and applications in the field. The Electronic Science department also conducts various activities for students. These include Science exhibitions, guest lectures, project competitions and study tours. Event Name: Solar Lamp Making Workshop Event Incharge : Department of Electronics Date: 2018-01-18 Venue : Abeda Inamdar Senior. College, Pune. Event Details
Solar Lamp Making Workshop was Jointly Organized by Department of Electronic Science and Department of Physics on 18th January 2020. There were 50 students who actively participated and assembled the kit successfully. The effort was to inculcate the importance about renewable energy with special focus on solar energy. Prof. Atiya Shaikh and Prof. Rabia Sayyed presented a step by step instruction on how to assemble a quality solar study lamp. They monitored and guided the students during the entire session. Students were also on how to check the quality of final assembled lamp. On successful completion of the workshop the students did realize the importance of using alternate energy sources and assured to use solar energy, wherever possible.

Inamdar, President M.C.E. Society, Pune. Quadcopter is a great fun for kids as well as adults. Kids can play on the ground and adults can use it for photography and video filming. The quadcopter has four arms and each arm has one motor and a propeller at their ends. Two of the propellers rotates clockwise and the other two rotates in the opposite direction i.e. anticlockwise and this keeps the machine stable in the air. The quadcopter is useful in rescue missions during disaster, police operations, surveillance by military operations and agricultural also.
