Abeda Inamdar Senior College of Arts, Science and Commerce recognises the need to promote research activities to add to existing knowledge and provide new insights on specific subjects. The college encourages its staff and students (at the UG and PG levels) to undertake research projects.
In addition to the research activites at the departmental level,the college has set up 03 Research Centres, affiliated to Savitribai Phule Pune University offering Ph. D Programmes in the following subjects.

• Chemistry (2004)
• English (2010)
• Commerce (2010)

The Research Centres provide a supportive platform to engage in qualitative and collaborative research. The centres also organise conferences and seminars at different levels and hold interactions with industry experts and academicians to bring in varied perspectives.
